With snow and ice forecasted to impact Maryland, LGIT is sharing the following winter weather safety and preparedness tips to help municipalities and counties reduce risk and protect people, property, and operations.

We are pleased to share that Theresa Kuhns, CEO of the Maryland Municipal League, has been elected to the NLC Mutual Insurance Board’s Executive Committee, which oversees the national reinsurance pool for participating state leagues and trusts.

Theresa’s appointment reflects her leadership and continued commitment to supporting Maryland’s local governments. Her role on the Executive Committee will help ensure Maryland’s perspective is represented at the national level.
