Amy Lanham is currently the Risk Administrator of Howard County Government, rated 5th "Best Places to Live" in the United States. Before taking the reins in Howard County, she was the Safety & Insurance Manager of Anne Arundel County from 2010–2018. Starting her career in the Municipal Risk Management profession, she served in various roles within the private insurance industry exceeding expectations for, sales and claims cost management, since receiving her personal lines producer license in 1998. She holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Baltimore. She currently serves on the PRIMA Leadership Development Committee, MD PRIMA Board of Directors, and has recently joined the LGIT Underwriting committee.
